We are currently recruiting a Private Equity Senior Fund Accountant for our client who are a market leading Buyside Firm. You will be responsible for maintaining the accounting books and records of fund clients, acting as the intermediary between the funds and the investment advisors while preparing financial statements and regulatory reports for the funds.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will calculate and report the funds’ NAV’s, as well as maintain updated accounting records.
- You will communicate with the funds’ investment advisors.
- Calculate the funds’ expenses.
- Process shareholder activity and reconciliations to the funds’ transfer agent.
- Perform security and cash reconciliations.
- You will perform procedural checks to ensure funds are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Analyse changes in funds’ values in relation to broader market fluctuations.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and audits as requested.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in Fund Operations with exposure to Alternative Funds.
- Knowledge of Investment (Financial) Services industry in Europe.
- Third level qualification in Accounting, Finance or other related Business degree.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and manage time to maximize efficiency and to meet strict deadlines.
- Knowledge of the Advent Geneva and Investran system is an advantage.
