Senior Financial Reporting Accountant – Funds

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Financial Reporting Professional to join a small/medium sized firm as it continues to go through a strong period of growth.

Our client is a global financial services firm, which offer Depositary, Custodial and Fund Administration services. As a boutique operation they offer excellent exposure and varied experience along with excellent working culture and work-life balance.

Key Duties:

• You will prepare and review annual and semi-annual financial statements for various funds.
• You will provide training and mentorship to junior team members
• You will ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• You will respond to auditor queries in a timely manner.
• You will liaise with other departments, including Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, and Depository, to address common issues and provide information for inclusion in Board Packs
• You will file financial statements with regulators and stock exchanges within the given deadlines
• You will calculate and review monthly fund distributions
• You will ensure all tax filings are completed accurately and on time, both with the Irish Revenue and for non-Irish taxes as required

Key Requirements:

• You will have previous experience working in the Financial Reporting team within a Funds environment.
• A qualification in accountancy or finance would be advantageous.
• You will have a thorough understanding of current accounting standards, including IFRS, US GAAP, and FRS 102, as well as knowledge of relevant regulations such as UCITS and AIFMD
